best shows have to be 21+ !!! Only a month and a half and I join the ranks
of those who no longer must run from the cops guarding the door at
Eddie's. And we had #17, too... ah well. Hope those friends who were
blessed with our number enjoyed themselves...

Hi guys (Kristen Hall FANS)
I am looking to see if she has a fan club or anything?
an address to write to?
an email address?
Can some one tell me how it went last night at eddies attic?
11/13/97
I was planning to make it, but since Im only 16, cant drive, and dad
got tied up?
I hear Kristen is moving to the west, is that true?
If so Kristen, come back and do a show for us soon, full band, all
ages. That would ROCK butt.
We love you Kristen, and Keep on keeping on

Great show on Nov 13, 1997. Kristen was in fine form for both shows
and told lots of funny stories which I will try to write up this
week sometime. Lots of fun seeing Chris from this page, Amy G who needs
to move to Atlanta, and no fun missing Martine! Kristen come BACK!

As someone has posted before me, we in Texas want to see Kristen! I'm in
Austin, but I'd be willing to make a trip to anywhere in the region. I'm
just afraid that Atlanta or L.A. are out of my reach. Concentrating on
songwriting is wonderful, but I'm feeling neglected out here in the Lone
Star State. Note the dejected look on my face: :( Come to Texas!

would like to see Kristen play in Canada - preferably with Cooper Tisdale
(who introduced me to her music. Everyone I have played "Let it Rain" for
agrees it is better than the cover version done by Amanda Marshall (a
Canadian)

Have listened to Kristen for years, sorry to say have not hooked up
with the CD as of yet...but I will. All time favorite CD is Real Life
Stuff....NEED SHEET MUSIC!!!!! Kristen, you wrote me a letter a couple of
years ago, saying that it was in the works. I repeat...NEED SHEET
MUSIC!!!! :o) If you think back about the Jelly Roll pens, and the multi
colored letter......That's ME!!!! NEED SHEET MUSIC!!!!!!
Take care and keep up the great work...we need it out here!! Maybe
you could hit the Pittsburg area, HUH? Did I mention...I NEED SHEET
MUSIC!!!!!!!! PEACE!

I love your music. I would absolutely love it if you could ever come to
Chicago for a show. You could even play at my high school's place. Keep up
the good work!

Wow! Stopped by to visit again and am glad to see so many other fans
here. (When I made that 2nd entry up there I thought, "Well, where is
everybody?" I think the page was just too new.) Anyhow, just want to post
some comments and information...Kristen, you've got 2 people here
interested in sheet music...there's your quorum! If anyone is interested,
my friends and I have figured out some songs (to the best of our
abilities) and have found others on the net--I'll be happy to share. Also,
Kristen, Austin is THE place to play WHEN you come to Texas. It's
smack-dab in the middle of the state--everyone'll be happy. Daemon Records
has REAL LIFE STUFF on CD--this one is early material, hard to find on CD,
and has bonus tracks on it. Just do a search for Daemon Records. Enough
rambling. The best to all.

This is so cheesy but when I found Kristen's web page I had to post a
message. I was lucky enough to run into Kristen 7 years ago playing for
one of her friends album release party (Wendy Bucklew) in Atlanta. It was
awesome, I fell in love with Kristen and her soul that weekend and haven't
stopped listening since. Unfortunately I rarely get the opportunity
to make the trip from Orlando to Atlanta anymore and have only been
fortunate enough to see Kristen one other time. I was lucky enough to hear
her back up the Indigos a year or so later as she toured with them as
their guitar tech in Orlando. I saw her hiding behind the sound equipment
and thought "could it be?", then once she did back up vocals on Kid Fears,
I knew instantly who she was. My heart just smiled. The little 19
year old fan I was then waited and waited and waited in the club as the
lights came on and the techs began to tear down the stage. Most fans
waited against the stage to catch a glimpse of the Girls, I waited to see
if I could get a chance to tell Kristen the a huge fan sat in the audience
so many miles from her home town. Finally, Kristen came out from back
stage, picking up cables. I made my move as she came closer to the end of
the stage. I went up to her and asked nervously if she was Kristen Hall,
she replied with a raspy "yeah". Nervously I rattled on about how I had
first seen her in Atlanta with Wendy and had not stopped listening and
that I was desparately trying to get her Real Life Stuff tape (there was a
tape before the cd, it didn't include Island (as far as I know)). I had
scratched my name and address down on the back of a flyer and handed it to
her, begging for a tape PROMISING to send money. Well, I never gave up
checking that mailbox, but the tape never came. Then one day I got a flyer
from Daemon Records, and there for order, Kristen had put RLS onto cd!
Ofcourse I purchased it and the next 2 to follow. My Kristen cd's sit
nestled on my entertainment center. Friends come in and listen to her
music but I never let a copy leave the house. I tell them to support their
"local" musicians, and purchase their own cds. I've turned many a friends
into Kristen fans (as well as Wendy, Michelle Malone and Ani fans).
I'm 26 now and don't get to make the short hops to Atlanta as much as I'd
like, and I fear once she is gone to LA, my days of catching this
wonderful woman will be slim. I can only hope her hard work and dedication
pay off for her and she gets the opportunity to take her music all over
the US and into Orlando. I've been waiting so long to shake Kristen's
hand. From listening to her music I have a sense that her and I have
travled down many of the same roads. Her words often express my feelings
for me. As a musician myself, I can only hope someday I connect with
someone the way she has connected with me. I wonder if someday a nervous
little 19 year old will hand me a crumpled up flyer with their address on
it begging for a tape. I'll do what Kristen did, it may take a while, but
I won't let them down. Kristen music and songwriting never lets you
down. Once you've heard her music, you're hooked! Thank you Kristen,
you'll never ever know what all you've done for me the past 7 years,
please don't ever stop! And oh yea, PLEASE COME TO ORLANDO!

been listening to Kristen for about ten years. I saw her for the first
time at the Little Five Points Pub. I have all of the C.D's as well as the
newest cassette tape. We here in Atlanta will miss her terribly. No more
monthly treks to Eddies Attic. We will be on alert for any info of a show
in Atlanta in the coming months.

try this again... I just wanted to tell the people that put up this
site that it is wonderful! Thanks so much... To Kristen Hall...
I picked up your CD "Real Life Stuff" at an indie music store in
Champaign, IL - totally by chance. I was just looking thru the "Women's
music" section and your CD caught my eye. I have to say it was one of the
luckiest happenings! You are my favorite artist and I am sorry that
I have missed seeing you by mere days every time I was in Atlanta
(AARRGH!) But since you are on the West Coast now - PLEASE consider
taking a slight working vacation to Hawaii...my new state of
residence...so that I don't go insane from hearing awesome LIVE music!
Thank you for your incredible songwriting, %09%09%09Marissa Tanimura

There is music that you appreciate
There is music that you love
Then there is music that is a connection.
Kristen, your music is my "connection"
I was in Atlanta last year and tried to find a venue to see you perform.
Perry said you were in New England. But you were not doing any shows.
It is impossible to find any of your music here in Western Australia. You
have a lot of fans here.
Will you ever put Thumbprint onto CD?
I am on my second copy!
Keep writing, you're the best.
